New Staff
Please welcome Mrs Ruth Joy, who has taken on the role of Administration Assistant in the school office. Ruth will be working on Thursday afternoons and all day Friday each week. Please be understanding of the fact that it will take a little time for Ruth to become proficient in the important tasks carried out in the school office.
Harvest Festival
The Harvest Festival celebration Assembly will take place on Monday 3rd October at 11:00am in St Mary`s Church. You are all very welcome to join us. Would you please contribute to the collection of gifts which will go to The Lord`s Larder in Yeovil. All non-perishable goods with long sell by dates will be gratefully received by this worthy organisation, which supports families in need in the local area. Please bring goods to school on the morning of 3rd October.
Rugby
Mr Davies has changed his Rugby Club from Thursday to Wednesday after school in order to avoid a clash with Football training. If you would like your child to attend, please sign the slip below.
Guitar Tuition
As you know we had a very successful guitar group last year, but have struggled to find another tutor. Fortunately, Mr Adrian Livsey has agreed to start lessons again. The lessons will take place on Wednesday afternoons during school time and the cost will be £3 per session, paid directly to Adrian. If you would like your child to take part in such tuition will you please express your interest as soon as possible so that I can organise a timetable.
School Photographer
On 14th October the school photographer will be taking individual and family group photographs at 2:00pm. All parents are welcome to come into school with younger children to be photographed. Reception children will need to return to school at 2:00pm on the day.
Notices
If you wish to advertise events or clubs at school, please bring posters to the school office rather than pinning them to the school gate. Thank you in anticipation of your co-operation.

4:15pm
