Dear Parents
The new security system is working well and ensures that we have more control about who enters the building from the various entrances. If the office is unmanned there is a buzzer connected to my office and a paiger, so we will always know that someone wishes to enter. Let me know if this presents you with any problems, as we are a welcoming school and would hate to put people off visiting.
School
Open Day- Wednesday 1st December 2004.
A reminder that all parents and prospective parents are welcome to come to the school to see the type of activities the children are engaged in on a daily basis. As stated previously this will be a normal school day. Please join us.
Non-
uniform Day on Friday 3rd December
This Friday is a non- uniform day, in exchange for children bringing in an item for the Christmas Bazaar. Items for a tom bola prize or raffle prize would be gratefully received. Items will be collected in the hall in the morning.
Travelling
Trends Fashion Show - Friday 3rd December. Doors open at 7:00pm for 7:30pm start.
Tickets can be obtained from members of the Friends and the school office. Come along to see/ buy ladies high street fashions at greatly reduced prices. New models appearing this year!!!! Tickets £3:50 (including a glass of wine)
Any saleable unwanted items for the White Elephant stall will be gratefully received at school at your convenience prior to the Bazaar
Would you be kind enough to sort out any unwanted toys or books that are still in reasonable condition for our toy/ bookstall.
Please get busy making cakes, (small or large) for our cake stall or refreshment stall. We always need lots of these.
Thank you to everyone who has returned their raffle tickets and money. We still have some left to sell in the school office. The prizes are varied and there are lots of them this year, so please sell as many as you can to family and friends.
Tea towels displaying drawings of all of the children will be on sale in the school hall from next week. These make excellent Christmas presents at £3.00 each.
Thank you to all who have volunteered to set up the hall for the Bazaar and to those who have offered to help on the afternoon. If I haven’t asked you and you are willing to help please come forward as there is always plenty to do.
There will be a meeting at school on Monday 6th December at 2:30pm for all helping at the Bazaar. If you cannot come do not worry as we will ensure you have all of the required information for the day of the Bazaar. All welcome.
Looking forward to a busy few weeks leading up to the end of term.
Thank you in anticipation of your co-operation.
Yours sincerely
Bernie Green
