Dear Parents/Guardians
Half term has approached quickly and I would like to wish you a restful break if you are fortunate enough to take time off.
Ofsted Inspection
We are now delighted to send our Outstanding Ofsted report. Please feel free to discuss any aspects with us after the holiday. You will note there is a letter for the children from the inspector, which I think is a lovely idea. We are naturally very pleased with the result of the Inspection and more importantly, the acknowledgement of the hard work that goes on in school by staff and children.
After half-term, we have planned a celebration day to further reward the children and to mark our successes.
More details will follow later.
Crossing Patrol
Kim Stone has kindly agreed to take on the role of Crossing Patrol for mornings only after Half Term. We are very grateful to her. It is still very important, however, that your child is accompanied to and from school wherever possible.
Labelling Uniform
Prior to the start of next half term, would everyone please ensure that all uniform is labelled clearly and that lunchboxes are labelled on the outside to avoid confusion.
Hot School Meals
As you know we, trialled one hot school meal provider recently and we are now going to trial another on Wednesday 8th November.
The menu will be: Roast beef and vegetables or Vegetarian Sausage and vegetables. Pudding will be Jelly. This will cost £1.70. Please send money and return slip in an envelope with your childs name and year group.
