Dear Parents

 

 

Breakfast Club

It would appear that I did not make details about the breakfast club as clear as needed, therefore a reminder:  Breakfast Club is on every day from 8.20-8.50am between now and Christmas.  Cost is 50p per day.  All are welcome!  Please see Mrs Sherry to book.

 

Children in Need

We raised an amazing £127.93 for our efforts last Friday.  Thank you to everyone who supported this very good cause.  We also raised £103.75 for the Asian Earthquake Disaster.

 

Severe Weather Warnings

In the unlikely event that the school needs to be closed due to severe weather, resulting in staff not being able to reach the school, the following applies:  the school telephone will be staffed from 8.20am – 9.00am so that enquiries can be made.  If children are at school and weather conditions worsen, children and staff may have difficulty getting home, therefore every attempt will be made to contact you to ask you to come and collect your children from school.  If you anticipate difficulties collecting your children later in the day due to weather conditions, please come early and collect children from school or telephone us to let us know what arrangement to make.  The Head teacher or other authorised person will remain at school until all children have been safely collected.  Local radio will be notified and information will be broadcast on:  Orchard FM (102.6 FM) and Gold Radio (97.4 FM).

 

Hot Meals at Lunchtime

Would you please indicate whether you would be interested in a basic hot meal provision for your child e.g. soup or jacket potato with filling.  The cost would be somewhere in the region of £1.50 and I am in the process of looking at providers, therefore approximate number would be helpful.

 

After School clubs

All clubs will be finishing week commencing 5th December including Mr Stump’s football club (unless otherwise stated).   Key Stage 2 football club will be on a Monday evening after Christmas.  Key Stage 1 club will be confirmed later.
