Dear Parents
We have a busy week ahead, therefore a quick note to remind you of events.
Year 6
It was great to hear the tales of what happened at the annual residential for Year 6. All had a wonderful time in Seaton and arrived home safely.
Non-Uniform Day – Tuesday 26th
June
A reminder that Tuesday is a non-uniform day in return for a tombola or raffle prize. Please bring items to the school hall on Tuesday morning. Bottles gratefully accepted.
School Fete – Saturday 30th June
All goods for the school fete, bric-a-brac, cakes etc will be welcome in school this week. Please support the fete and any offers of help will be well received.
Interviews
We are interviewing for our new Key Stage 2 teacher and Deputy Headteacher next week, so news about new appointments will follow shortly. We have received some very high quality applications, so we are very optimistic about the process.
Class Photographs
Whole class photographs will take place on Monday 25th June. The photographer does not often have time for extra photographs on this visit, but he will return in the Autumn term for individual photos.
Skipping for the British Heart Foundation
Our skipping activity will be on Wednesday 27th June. I hope sponsorship is going well.
Year 6 – Wells Cathedral – Thursday 28th June
Year 6 will be going to Wells on Thursday for their Leavers’ service. This is a lovely day to support them spiritually at this time of “moving on”.
Sports Day
Unless the weather prevents it, we will be having Sports Day on Tuesday 3rd July at 1.30pm as planned. All are welcome to attend. The reserve day is Thursday 5th July.
